Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a gift in your will can make the world of difference to Australian veterans suffering from physical injuries and mental health illnesses caused by their service.

So far, through donations, we’ve supported thousands of veterans and their families, but we know that many more need our help. With the rate of suicide among veteran men 18% higher than the average Australian - we’re committed to helping every veteran receive the care they need. Before it’s too late.

Your legacy will change lives

By choosing Mates4Mates in your will, you’ll change the lives of those impacted by service. Here are some of the ways your gift will help our current and ex-serving Defence members, and their families.

How to leave a gift in your will

If you’re considering leaving a gift to Mates4Mates in your will, simply add a clause to your will mentioning your intended gift or add a codicil to an existing will.

We always recommend you seek advice from a solicitor when drafting your will as the wording is very important and your solicitor can advise you on the different types of gifts.

Once you’ve set up a gift in your will, please let us know so we can say thank you. Bequests are a vital source of income and we appreciate each and every gift towards helping our veterans.
