Mates4Mates Explaining the Brain Program
Are you a veteran or a family member who wants to better understand the symptoms and experiences of post-traumatic-stress disorder (PTSD)?
Then the Explaining the Brain Program may be for you.
What is the Explaining the Brain Program?
Newly developed by Mates4Mates, the Explaining the Brain Program is designed by our psychologists to help veterans and their families become better educated on the biological mechanisms of PTSD.
The group program will provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about how PTSD is developed and treated, as well as its symptoms and experiences for veterans and their families, in a safe environment.
The Explaining the Brain Program will be offered online as well as in-person at the Brisbane and Townsville Family Recovery Centres.
