At Mates4Mates you’ll find a community of like-minded current and ex-serving Defence Force members who have been impacted by service, and their families. Our staff and Mates understand what you’re going through and are here to help – with no judgements or expectations. 

Mates4Mates is co-located within the RSL Queensland Veteran & Family Wellbeing Centre on the Sunshine Coast in Maroochydore. The centre includes clinical services, a gym, a veterans’ lounge and kitchen, and a space for social connection activities. 

The centre also includes RSL Queensland’s advocacy and emergency financial support services and the RSL Queensland Sunshine Coast District Office, providing an easier approach for veterans and their families to receive more support, more often. 

To access our services, you will need to join Mates4Mates by filling out our new client form. Once you have joined, you are welcome to come and go as you need for appointments, programs and social connection activities. 

The centre is open from 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Talk with our staff about activities which may occur outside of regular opening hours. 

Veterans can also join the Mates4Mates Sunshine Coast Facebook group to stay up to date with what’s happening each week.
