Mates4Mates Physical Rehab for Pain Program

Are you a veteran impacted by their service who is looking to learn how to self-manage pain with exercise and physical activity?

Then the Physical Rehab for Pain Program may be for you.

What is the Physical Rehab for Pain Program?

Newly developed by Mates4Mates, the Physical Rehab for Pain Program is designed by our Exercise Physiologists to help veterans gain a better understanding and greater confidence in self-managing their pain through physical activity.

The program will take veterans through twice-weekly exercise sessions which will incorporate education on understanding pain, mindfulness and relaxation, how to manage flare-ups, and more.

Upcoming Programs

Running at both the Townsville Family Recovery Centre and the Brisbane Family Recovery Centre, this program will run across six weeks, every Tuesday and Thursday, starting 8 September to 18 October 2022, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm.
