Mates4Mates is excited to announce a charity partnership with the Dolphins NRL to further support the Defence community to reconnect and recover.
As one of Australia’s leading veteran charities, Mates4Mates is committed to providing support services to veterans and families to help improve their mental, physical and social health.
Understanding the important role sport and movement plays when it comes to health and wellbeing, Mates4Mates incorporates this into its programs and activities to help those impacted by service.
With a passion to support the Defence community, the Dolphins were thrilled to announce this charity partnership with Mates4Mates.
"Mates4Mates do important work for the people that have made huge sacrifices for our country both in their personal and professional lives,” Terry Reader, Dolphins NRL Chief Executive Officer said.
"The Dolphins are very pleased to enter into this partnership to provide assistance for the wonderful support they provide to the Defence community."
Mates4Mates Chief Executive Officer, Emma Whitehead also welcomed the new charity partnership and the opportunities it will provide the local veterans and families who access our services.
“Mates4Mates has three centres within South East Queensland to support veterans and families and it’s important to us that we partner with organisations embedded in our local communities,” Emma said.
“It’s wonderful to see the community impact the Dolphins NRL since they were established in 2023.”
“It’s through charity partnerships like this one that allows Mates4Mates to continue our work in supporting the health and wellbeing of veterans and family members in every way we can.”
Mates4Mates will be the designated 5050 Charity Raffle partner at the upcoming Suncorp Stadium home game on Sunday, 28 July to raise vital funds for veterans and families impacted by service.
