Supporting our diversity and belonging journey with ISS

19 September 2024

Mates4Mates is excited to announce a partnership with ISS to support our diversity and belonging journey.

At Mates4Mates, it’s important that we continue to create safe spaces for current and ex-serving Defence Force personnel and families, as well as for our staff.

ISS is committed to hiring veterans and families and supporting them on their journeys as the transition from Defence, aligning with our own commitment to supporting the physical, mental and social health of the community.

This partnership with ISS will provide us with invaluable insights and guidance which will ensure we are better supporting those who access our services.

Mates4Mates Chief Executive Officer, Emma Whitehead welcomed the new partnership, highlighting the importance of creating inclusive and diverse-safe environments.

“It’s through the support of industry partners such as ISS that allows us to meet the ever-increasing need for more mental health and physical rehabilitation services as well as opportunities for social connection,” Emma said.

“This partnership with ISS will ensure that we can remain committed to providing veterans and families with a space that is inclusive, diverse and gives them a sense of belonging while they reconnect and recover.”

ISS General Manager - Business Development, Keith French shared that ISS is dedicated to providing support to veteran and families, helping them to thrive within the civilian community.

“ISS supports Mates4Mates in appreciating, and retaining, veteran and military-affiliated talent and their families in order to help ISS build a diverse and inclusive workplace, built upon veteran talent,” Keith said.
